Have you checked out J's blog yet? He takes lots of pictures. He would love some feedback!
The last few Sundays we've had some really nice weather, so we've taken advantage of that by going to different parks and beaches around town. (Another reason to click over to J's blog - he takes pictures of our outings.) The people-watching can be just as fun as anything. Two recent examples (with imagined dialogue):
Last week when we went to Discovery Park (and discovered that there are some mighty steep hills there, probably unsuitable for a pregnant lady to climb), just as we were leaving, we noticed a large group of bikers (cyclists) had gathered for a barbeque. Someone had brought a child's turtle-shaped sandbox (no sand).
"Hey, guys! Let's go bike around Discovery Park!"
"Sounds great! Don't forget the sandbox."
And then yesterday when we went to Volunteer Park, we noticed a group of older people gathered around a picnic table. Next to them was a mini trampoline. As we were leaving, one of the Deadheads was jumping on it.
"Hey guys! Let's go have a picnic at Volunteer Park!"
"Sounds great! Don't forget the trampoline."

The invitation read: BYOT (bring your own trampoline).
Thanks for the shout out.
I love looking at J's blog everyday! I also love to bring sandbox's (on my bike) to parks on Sunday afternoons :)
