Big news!

I paid off my student loans today! It was sad to see all that money leave our savings and sad to know that that era of my life is totally behind me now, but happy to be able to accomplish this. And happy to now be able to put our money towards cooler stuff, like retirement and a house and trips to New York and Australia and Europe and Costa Rica and all the places we want to go.

Hmm, the money I was paying towards the student loans each month wasn't enough to cover all that at once. Baby steps, I guess.
